The Release. The limited edition JDM SCVE003 has become more and more popular since its 2015 release. Greeted with little fanfare from Seiko, and in limited numbers, this SCVE (and it’s yellow, blue and orange counterparts) boomed in popularity, especially overseas due to its initial Japan-only release and modern design.

The Design. The Red Dot has earned the nickname "The Rising Sun" due to its resemblance to the national Flag of Japan. However, it was originally part of a small Seiko Spirit Collection called the "Emotion Series", and its original name was "Passion". 

Condition: Good condition. Well-worn. The crystal shows scratches of varying lengths and noticeability. I have included various photos that show the scratches clearly in the album. None of the scratches are particularly deep – I would consider them to be hairline in nature.

Scope: Full original bracelet, original box, and original papers.

Movement: Automatic, 4R37 with 41-hour power reserve (21600bph)
