The Biltwell Gringo S/Gringo SV ECE 22.06 shield is a replacement part designed for R22.06 Gringo S and Gringo SV helmets. It's made from highly scratch- and impact-resistant polycarbonate thermoplastic, with an anti-fog treatment for maximum optical clarity. The shield is injection-molded for durability and features in-mold tint technology for colored shields, as well as a reflective coating to reduce glare on mirrored shields. This shield provides 91% UV/A and 99% UV/B light resistance, based on the AATCC-138 test standard. The anti-fog treatment on the shield interior helps to prevent moisture build-up from breathing and humidity. Please note that these shields will not work with the old ECE R22.05 Gringo S helmets due to a change in the closure system. Replacement shields for the ECE R22.05 Gringo S in different tints are available.
